This tribute was recorded by The Riffing Cowboys, a studio band that includes Dan Baird (Georgia Satellites), Warner Hodges and Jason Ringenberg (Jason and the Scorchers), and Eric “Roscoe” Ambel (The Del Lords, Steve Earle). Together, these and other musicians and singers answer the question, “What if Hank Williams had played in a rock ‘n’ roll band?”

Fans of The Georgia Satellites, Jason and the Scorchers, Social Distortion, The Bottle Rockets, and similar raw rock ‘n’ roll outfits will appreciate hearing Hank's songs jacked up with electric guitars and distortion-drenched amps. Think of it as Hank meets Chuck Berry with a dollop of Ramones influence tossed in here and there for good measure.
