about

Hank recorded “Hey Good Lookin’” on 16 March 1951. The Riffing Cowboys recorded this track on 9 May 2011 in Nashville, the same city in which Hank had recorded his original 60 years, one month, and 24 days earlier. In fact, the Hank 'n' Roll version was arranged, recorded, and mixed in about five hours (granted, probably four and a half hours longer than Hank had taken to record his version).

Dan Baird: Vocal, bass, lead guitar, and tambourine

Joe Blanton: Vocal

Warner Hodges: Slide, lead, and rhythm guitars and drum arrangement

Graham Young: Rhythm guitar

about

The Riffing Cowboys Ottawa, Ontario

The world's first rock 'n' roll tribute to Hank Williams--a foot-tapping, and at times fist-pumping, assemblage of basement-bred rock ‘n’ roll that presents some stellar Hank songs in high gear.
